Welcome to Alameda County Independent Living Skills Program

A program supporting youth transitioning from the foster care or juvenile justice system to independent living.

This site provides information for current, former, and prospective ILSP students, child welfare workers, probation officers, foster parents and other caregivers, advocates, and supporters of youth in foster care or on probation.

Alameda County Book Money Program reopens for Summer/Fall 2010 on May 31st.

Applications can be found at the following locations:

Online here on the ILSP website.

At the front desk of the main office at
675 Hegenberger Rd, Suite 100, Oakland

Or in the EOPS offices on the campuses of Laney College; College of Alameda; and Cal State Eastbay

Applications will not be available until May 31st. IF you need books for summer school, applications will be available Wednesday June 2nd!
